Our 3rd day began at Disney's Animal Kingdom. First stop: Harambe Wildlife Reserve (which was sooo much better than a zoo). This exhibit is where you rode in an open-air bus and were able to view animals in as close to a natural habitat as we can see in our suburban existence.
Next up: The Kali River Rapids where you sit in a circular raft and gently glide down the RAPIDS in a river (??? oxymoron). Oh, and you also get splashed with a ton of water. Some loved it (Quincy), others didn't (Ellie, Kali).
We ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe...good food and fun environment (they had anima-tronic animals all over the place that were constantly chattering...the girls loved it!).
The afternoon ended with the girl's first 3-D movie experience: It's Tough to be a Bug.
At the end of the afternoon the girls were just as energized on the bus-ride back to the resort as they were on their way out in the morning...
...the adults, not so much.
Note: Do not take little one's on the Everest Expedition unless they are VERY adventurous and can handle a super-jerky roller coaster going BACKWARDS in the DARK. Bad call on our part....very very bad.
