Spring Break Part Four: Just a Whole Bunch of Random Photos

After dinner on our last night, all the kids went down to the little neighborhood lake to fish with just a string, hook, and bread as bait.
Ryan, Patrick, and Jack caught one every 5 seconds.
Ellie was fascinated....
Quincy was grossed out.

For some reason, Ryan wanted Ellie to kiss a fish...so she did. Huh.

Even Scotty, Jack's dog, got in on the action.

Spring Break Part Two: A Day at the Beach

We spent a good chunk of Spring break in Savannah visiting family. The first day of the trip was spent at the beach collecting about 20 pounds of sea shells.

Ellie came very close to dumping a bucket of (cold) water on Quincy. Lucky for all of us she re-thought her decision before she followed through.

Searching for baby crabs....

....and a cotton candy ice cream cone before we called it a day.

Spring Break Part One: The First Sleep-Over

Quincy and Ellie had their first sleep over (our house) the Friday that Spring Break began. The girls had soooo much fun! No tears, just way too many giggles which caused the girls to all be moved to separate bedrooms about three hours after their bedtime.

Ellie's Five!

What did she want for her birthday? Books!!! After a delicious dinner of Chinese Noodles at one of our favorite places to eat, we hopped on over to Barnes and Noble so our now-five-year-old Ellie could pick out five books.  It was a good day.
