...and the After-Party...

I'm  not really sure what we were thinking when we decided to go to Cagle's Dairy right after Quincy's party.

Why was that a good idea?

But the girls had a blast.
And that's what it's really about, right???

Every year when we do the corn maze the girls are thrilled to see corn.
????
I don't get it.

The Party

The Cake was six layers of varying shades of pink (with edible gold glitter sprinkled on top).

The Unicorns were molded out of white chocolate
and then painted with edible glitter paint.

It took five hours....and it was worth it!

The party favors...

....her friends....

.....her best friends :)

...and even Uncle's Mike and Eric...

...luckily no one (over 50)  broke a hip.

It was her dream party in every way.

Halloween, 2013

The girls (and ER) went as Garden Gnomes this year.
The above pix is of them trying to strike a Garden Gnome pose (???)

 3rd year with the Wolfman....

...and the 3rd year that Paco ate a bad taco :)

October, Part 3: 7 is the new 6

Quincy's now 7!

......and the girls get big (!) birthday parties on their 7th.
But... since Quincy's actual birthday was on a schoolday, she got a rootbeer float with a candle in it rather than a cake.

She did get to open her gifts on her special day, though.
Yep, she's still all about unicorns.

Ellie's gift to Quincy was wrapped inside of an old light fixture box.

When Quincy opened it she thought that was her gift.

Ellie cracked up.

Of course Ellie didn't give Quincy a light fixture....

.....she gave her exactly what Quincy loves:
Things that are pink and cuddly.
(pix from her big party coming soon).
