Swimteam, 2013

 

We love our swim team.  And I mean loveeee it!

 

 

Ellie aged-up and is now swimming with the 7-8 year-olds.  With that comes a whole new responsibility---swimming in more events (like the 100 IM---which she is not too happy about)....but it also means more awards (which she IS happy about :)

 

 

 

 

The main reason we love our new team is because of the coaches.  They should all be teachers when they choose their careers---they are just really good around all ages of kids.

 

 

And they're also really good swimmers!

It's not a party until Julie and Dawson show up :)

 

One of the girl's best friends is on the team with them this year.

Recital, 2013 part B

The recital was awesome!  The girls pulled it together and performed really well ---no stage fright (and no Quincy-waving-to-me-in-the-middle-of-the-performance....which is another sign of her growing up and makes me kind of sad). 

 

Two of Tim's students are in the big-kid classes (read that as super good in all areas of dance) and the girls were thrilled to be able to have their picture taken with them after the show. 

 

After the show we came back home and had our typical post-recital meal of tacos (with Uncle Mike and Uncle Eric, of course!)
