The girl's first ever swim meet....

They each did a leg in the free-relay and then competed in the individual 25m free and back.  No word yet on times or places.   Did they win their events?  No.  Are we OMG soooo proud of them?  Absolutely!...so we went out for Cotton Candy Explosion ice cream after to celebrate!

Dance Recital 2012---Tap!

Ellie and Quincy's recital this year is a (over-the-top) tap number danced to the tune Cuban Pete from The Mask soundtrack....and it is one fun number!  Their outfits are chili-red with feathers all over the bottom.  In multiple parts within their number all the girls need to shake their "tushies" so all the feathers swish.  At the dress rehearsal last week their number was hands-down the most popular number in the show simply due to its entertainment value (it was definitely not due to its technical expertise!).
