The weather in Georgia has been c.r.a.z.y. this year. Like the rest of the U.S. our winter was ridiculously warm so we were all expecting a ridiculously warm summer, too. In fact, last March the weather was so hot that the girls wore shorts to school the majority of the month. Due to this we were mentally prepared for a brutal summer. Typically by mid-June the weather in Georgia is already up in the 90's with 90% humidity and mosquitoes out the wazoo. Not this year! So far our June weather has reminded me of life in southern California. Ahhh.....
We have been taking every advantage of the great weather while it holds out....including watching movies in the backyard again. This year we are streaming the series Avatar: The Last Airbender to give the girls the back-story to their (and our!) current favorite show: The Legend of Korra.
