Spring Break, Part 3 (kind-of-gross proof of the fun they had)

Not really sure why she is smiling here....
...it was pretty gross.

Ellie's toe.

I love my girls....
...the majority (not all, but the vast majority) of the time they are smiling and happy :)
Even when their knees and toes look like this.

Quincy's left knee.

Spring Break, Part 2 (home)

Quincy won at Farkle!
(which is kind of rare for her)

Otisssssss...........

The girls helped me garden.
I did not put them in the yard-waste trashcan---
that was all them.
But of course I got a photo of it ;)

The girls had some playdates with some of their best buds....

The girls lost a total of four teeth.

....and practiced "surfing" down the hill.
(no waves in Tybee earlier in the week = no surfing at the beach
---but that didn't stop them; they got creative :)

Spring Break---Part 1 (Savannah!)

The weather was perfect (!)....

...but the water was soooo cold!
(yet it didn't seem to bother the kids)

It's not a trip to Tybee without
seeing at least one jellyfish.

We saw our very first Irish Wolfhound.
I want one.
Seriously.

Aunt Liz (and Aunt Jill???) made cupcakes for Ellie's 8th (!) birthday.....

....the kids had fun playing Hedbandz.....

...and they totally enjoyed Uncle Bill's Swedish Pancakes...but maybe a little too much.
Quincy's came back up in the car on the way home.
(Thankfully into a bucket)
:(

But the REAL reason we were in Savannah was to usher Uncle Joe into SIXTY-hood!
He looks good for 60...hope I can say the same when I am there :)

March---it went by super fast, too!

The tree in our front yard is finally getting big enough to climb.

The girls decided to re-do the snow days....
.....but without snow.
Oddly enough it worked pretty well.

Ellie purchased a pair of roller blades with the Christmas money from Uncle Mike and Aunt Steph.....
....Quincy decided to stick with climbing trees after trying them out.

Haemi, again.

Ellie found a baby salamander by the pond :)

Quincy and her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Petrina....
...taken right before the first grade musical....

...where Quincy's class signed their song this year
(in addition to singing :)

....and Quincy with her two BFF's, Liana (AKA Rapunzel) and Ali (AKA Little Miss Muffet).
