Tim found a baby chipmunk in the basement...and it's good that he found it before the dogs.
It was sooo cute!

Fall Festival, 2013

 

 

I love love love seeing my current and former students outside of school---and the best time of the year for this to occur is the Fall Festival.

E and Q love going to the festival due to the rediculous amount of candy thrown specifically to them during the parade.

 

 

 

 

The girls were finally (!!!) tall enough to ride the Chinese Dragon roller coaster at the fair this year---they have been waiting three years for the privilege of doing so.
It didn't disappoint---they loved it!

 

Quincy still makes me nervous. 
We had a little chat about leaning out of rides when this one ended.

Fall is here---and that means HS football is back!

...and the girls enjoy it waaayyyy more than we do!

 

Asleep on the stairs at 9:30 on Friday night.

Spirit Day and Dynamite Dolphin

Quincy was called to the principal's office at the beginning of the month.  She said that when she was walking the walk to the office she was afraid she had done something wrong and she was going to get in trouble (which is always a possibility :)
But...rather than getting reprimanded, she got the Dynamite Dolphin award instead!
 (and I think it's a big deal in her school...)

4th of July in September

 

 

 
4th of July fireworks were rescheduled for Labor Day due to all the (great) rain we had this summer. 
 

 

It was the best display we have ever seen!
