Saturday Night Birthday Party

Quincy and Ellie went to their first all-out crazy-fun birthday party last night. 

It was held at the best-ever kids activity center, Catch Air.  They have everything a kid could ever possibly want to play with.


All the kids started the evening freshly-napped and ready to play...

 

..but slowly ran out of steam as the night churned closer to 8 p.m. (which is past their bedtime).

At the end of the evening, all the kid's eyelids were drooping...but none of them were too tired for a cupcake!

Ellie's First T-Ball Game!

The day began with the family waking up at 7 a.m. today to get Ellie to her team pictures at 8 a.m. Not a big deal waking up so early for the photos since her first game of the season was right after that at 8:30, right? Except that her team photos aren't until March 26th. Oops.

Sunday...

 Today was a beautiful day to close a rediculously sad weekend.  Tim's father was laid to rest yesterday;  the girls are handling it about as well as four year olds can......they don't fully understand it yet. 

After spending some time at our favorite place to ride bikes, we went home where Ellie practiced her throwing for T-Ball.  She's really quite good...

Quincy, on the other hand, has zero interest in T-Ball.....she prefers just dilly-dallying around.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ellie and Quincy's school is having a Valentine's Day party today so we went to the local craft store and purchased all things red, pink and glittery and then got busy with our glue sticks and glue guns. 

Actually, they got a little too busy with the glue sticks....

Favorite Story-book Character Dress-up Day at School

Last week Ellie and Quincy's school had "Dress Up as your Favorite Story-book Character Day". Ellie chose Madeline and Quincy chose Pinkalicious.  That's all.
