Christmas Party, 2014

I *think* this is the 3rd year we have hosted Santa coming to our house to read " 'Twas The Night Before Christmas".

As usual, a good time was had by all :)

 

This year Santa had a magic watch that told how 

naughty or nice the kids were on a scale of 1-10....

...from a parent's perspective the (completely-random-luck-of-the-draw) results were pretty accurate and quite interesting.

I'll just leave it at that :)

This year Santa brought all the girls PJs again...

...Santa did very well!

The next  morning we woke up and played a round of Tokaido, our current favorite game.

(I won!)

(The party next year will be in our new house---yay!!!)

Quincy's 2nd grade Musical: Spaced Out

It was the same musical that Ellie did last year...

...just a different character.

(I think they were spaceships?)

Quincy's class did Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for their class song...

...the lights were turned out for the number and all the kids held flashlights.

It was cute :)

Quincy's teacher this year is like Mary Poppins

(she really is just sooo nice)

Halloween, 2014

This is the 4th year we have done Halloween with the Crowleys...

......and we will continue doing it as long as they will have us!

This year Q, E, and ER wanted to go "scary".

Q was a mummy and Ellie and ER were both vampires.

ER went as a scary vampire.

Ellie didn't.

The whole crew this year.

(and this was an exceptionally FUN year!)

Quincy's 8!

Quincy's birthday was on a school day this year 

so we celebrated the Saturday before.

The only thing she wanted was a sleep-over with her BFF, Ali....

...which of course she got.

Q wanted to go bowling this year....

...which is kind-of funny since she can't even hold the ball.

After bowling the girls went into the arcade.

They all said this was their favorite part.

Who doesn't love an arcade?

Ellie and Amanda traded in their winning points for vampire teeth.

Quincy didn't want a cake this year...

..she wanted trifle (just like Ellie had last year).

Yay!

When it was time to go to sleep, they all crawled into the tent outside 

with their book-lights and Mad-Libs....

...I think they all had a blast!
